The Union also offers a wide range of credit facilities ranging from short term to long term in various categories which include BUSINESS(sole proprietor, partnership, group), REAL ESTATE (construction of house, business centers), AGRICULTURAL LOAN (poultry, plantation farming, peasantry farming), SOCIAL (Anniversaries, marriages, school, health), CONSUMPTION (food, drinks, cloths).
Through these loans, the Union has impacted positively on the lives of several people.
The BPTCCUL is meant to serve its members to their satisfaction at all times.
School Fee Loans
This is one of the special services offered by the credit union.
Most often the union makes this service available whenever school is about to resume.
However, only members who receive their salary through the union or those who have a standing order. It should be noted that this service is offered for a period of six months, at the rate of 1% per month and what makes this service special is that the interest is deducted upfront.
This service is peculiar in that it assists members to meet up with their pressing financial needs whenever school is about to resume.
Special Operations
It is a special and emergency short term credit facility with a life span of one month on an interest rate of 3% per month.
