About Us

Fifty-two years of member-owned banking, built one deposit at a time.

Our Story

From a Njangi group to Fako's first CENADI-accredited Credit Union.

What began as a small savings circle among telecommunication technicians has grown into one of the most trusted cooperative financial institutions in the South West Region.

Governance

Led by our members, for our members.

BPTCCUL is a cooperative society governed by a member-elected Board of Directors (COOP-BOD), supported by a professional management team responsible for day-to-day operations across all seven branches.

As a CAT. 1 Microfinance Institution, BPTCCUL operates under continuous supervision from COBAC and MINFI, with statutory audits and reporting obligations like any regulated financial institution in the CEMAC zone.
