Salary Accounts

A Salary Account is how Civil Servants, State Agents and employees of corporate bodies receive their pay through BPTCCUL — opened free of charge, with access to loan facilities at very low interest rates.

In 2018, BPTCCUL became the first Credit Union in Fako to be granted a CENADI code by the Cameroonian government, allowing it to pay Civil Servants’ salaries directly through the Union.

BPTCCUL currently pays salaries for members from the following institutions, among others:

• Civil Servants (MINFI)
• NASLA Buea
• University of Buea
• Buea Council
• HYSACAM
• CNPS
• SOWEDA
• OIC Buea
• Biaka Hospital
• HIBMAT University
• St Monica University
• Idenau Council
• …and several institutions in Yaoundé, including Protec Security, Local Youth, Graceland and Omega Learning.

Requirements

• Certified copy of National ID Card
• Original copy of most recent pay-slip
• Attestation of Effective Service from your employer
• Handwritten application to the Director of Salaries, MINFI, with a fiscal stamp
• One passport-sized photograph
• Attestation of non-indebtedness from your current bank
