Members and staff gathered across our branches this year to mark 52 years since BPTCCUL grew out of a small savings circle among telecommunication technicians in Buea. What began as a modest Njangi in 1968 has grown into a CamCCUL-affiliated, COBAC-regulated cooperative serving thousands of members across seven branches.\n\nDuring the celebrations, the Board of Directors reaffirmed the Union’s founding principle: banking that puts members first, with surpluses reinvested locally rather than paid out to outside shareholders.\n\nWe thank every member, past and present, for their trust over the past five decades — and look forward to the next chapter.
